Quantum Facades provides a fully managed facade service covering rainscreen cladding design, technical engineering, system supply and installation. Rainscreen systems operate on a different principle to traditional wall cladding: a sheathing board fixed to the structural frame forms the primary weather barrier, with joints sealed using EPDM membranes. A support carrier system anchors through the sheathing board into the steel framework, followed by insulation, cavity barriers and the selected rainscreen panel — delivering a robust, drained and ventilated envelope.

Removing unsafe cladding, replacing it with compliant systems.
Quantum Facades specialises in cladding remediation and supports clients in accessing the government’s Cladding Remediation Fund. We remove unsafe cladding, combustible insulation, non-compliant breather membranes and sheathing boards, then design and install fully compliant A1- or A2-rated non-combustible cladding systems using aluminium or stainless-steel carriers with required cavity fire barriers throughout the building envelope. We also replace combustible balcony decking boards and handrails with non-combustible aluminium or composite systems.
