About the project

Kings Moat School · in brief.

The Kings Moat Primary School project in Chester represents a significant investment in educational infrastructure to support a rapidly growing community. Designed to be both functional and inspiring, the school requires a façade solution that meets stringent performance standards while delivering a modern, welcoming aesthetic. Quantum Facades joins the project to address these needs, working closely with the main contractor and design team to develop a bespoke cladding package that balances durability, fire safety, and energy efficiency. The complexity of the project lies in integrating multiple systems that perform reliably over time while enhancing the architectural identity of the facility. To achieve this, Quantum Facades implements a combination of Eurobond Rainspan Panels for structural support and thermal performance, Rockpanel Rainscreen for fire resistance and visual appeal, and Tata Catnic Urban Cladding to add refined detailing. Every element is carefully fabricated and installed to meet exacting standards, with a strong focus on precision and collaboration throughout the build. The result is a striking, future-ready school that not only meets the practical demands of education but also reflects the ambition and growth of the surrounding community.
